Since winning the now defunct Muzik Magazine's coveted Bedroom Bedlam Dj competition PAOLO MOJO has never looked back. He's played Ibiza, Turnmills, Fabric and countries across the globe from Hong Kong to Buenos Aires. In between turning rooms upside down with his genre splicing DJ sets, Paolo's also found time to start up two labels, Music is Freedom and Orcmusic, and is now churning out his own tripped out house based productions.
One of the busiest men in dance music he's reknowned for playing an eclectic range of nocturnal tuneage, ranging from air bunching bangers to deeper, more progressive tackle. He has also now been enlisted to mix the latest in the series of Balance mix CD's (following on from the likes of James Holden, Chris Fortier and Desyn Masiello) and it's with great pleasure that we welcome him back to the Plug to see what kind of dancefloor damage his bag of wax can really do.
Joining Paolo in smashing it up in the Live Room will be Adrift Records man DYLAN RHYMES (aka Marvin Beavers) Signed to a roster including the mighty Chicken Lips and Elite Force, Mr Rhymes has been hard at it with both his djing in the clubs and studio based production work going through the roof. Remixes for Deep Dish, Unkle, Dave Gahan and Evil Nine and a slurry of his own releases (including the acclaimed, Smirnoff advert soundtracking 'Naked and Ashamed') climaxing in last November's LP, 'Dead Famous,' have left lovers of breakbeat and tech house thirsty for much, much more from this talented fellow.
Warming up the Abelton Live for Dylan Rhymes will be local boy Pedram. Ensuring the mood is perfectly set for the out of towners to rip it up, expect deep, bumping business from this talented chap..

The Earth room should be an interesting one this weekend. Last time round debutant WILL ATKINSON blew the roof off with a fine selection of breaks and house, making it look like he'd been playing out for years.. So naturally we challenged him to come back and prove he is actually that good, and it wasn't all a big one-off flook. Joining him will be Plug resident GEOFF TICEHURST, armed with the usual filth and DANNY MAGER, who'll be bringing the top notch funk.
